Steve Jobs has passed away. Considering I never met the man, he had an incredible impact on my career, my outlook on life, my definition of success.

Here’s his 2005 commencement address at Stanford University. About 7 minutes in, he begins, sharing three anecdotes from his life. And what a life it was. Goodbye, Steve.

Speaking of pixel art of nerds, here’s an icon of Bill Atkinson drawn by Susan Kare in 1983, during the development of the original Macintosh.

The picture is courtesy of Andy Hertzfeld and Folklore.org. Kare also captured a younger Steve Jobs than the one Ichifuru did in the previous post, and yet he’s still smirking in both portraits. :J
