Speaking of pixel art of nerds, here’s an icon of Bill Atkinson drawn by Susan Kare in 1983, during the development of the original Macintosh.

The picture is courtesy of Andy Hertzfeld and Folklore.org. KareĀ also captured a younger Steve Jobs than the one Ichifuru did in the previous post, and yet he’s still smirking in both portraits. :J

Amazing pixel art portrait of one of my heroes, Alan Kay. The artist, Masashi Ichifuru, made three more: Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and one in memory of Jef Raskin. Fantastic.
